The Invitations
The invitations went out today. I put an RSVP date of August 15th because the hotel must have final numbers for rooms about 60 days prior. If we don’t book all the rooms, they will release them to the public. I don’t think we have to worry about that. My only concern is that people do not return the RSVP card. I worry because I too have been guilty of this at some point in my life. However, after seeing my clients lose money because they overestimated their numbers because of RSVP cards that were never returned and people who verbally committed, I have learned my lesson. I will be calling every single one of our guests to inquire about their attendance should they decide not to reply.
Tip for family and friends: Always return the RSVP card.
