Five Amazing Caribbean Resorts with Chapels
We are often asked what resorts in the Caribbean have chapels on property?
It’s your wedding, you should be able to have your cake and eat it too! And also, have your vacation and your wedding ceremony too! That’s why we’ve put together a list of five amazing hotels that have chapels right on their property. Saying your vows in any of these traditional Caribbean hideaways is sure to be a dream.
Sandals Montego Bay – This gorgeous hotel sprawls over 26 acres and comes with just about every luxurious amenity you can think of, including an on-site chapel! The resort also offers a handful of wedding packages with pre-designed themes like the island-inspired Paradise Package and the all-pink-everything Flutter of Romance Package.
Atlantis Bahamas – Atlantis is an absolutely stunning resort that simply drips elegance. The resort has over 20 wedding venues to choose from, but the multi-functional Ocean’s Edge is definitely one of our favorites. The area includes an indoor pavilion that can easily be transformed into a delightful, seaside chapel. The space can also be decorated and turned into a perfectly picturesque place to hold your reception!
Casa de Campo Dominican Republic – Casa de Campo resort and villas boasts a handful of gorgeous wedding venues to choose from, but St. Stanislaus Church may be the most stunning. Couples can plan a traditional Catholic ceremony either inside the church (with up to 70 guests) or outside of it, with the gorgeous stone-chapel and its flower-flanked path as a backdrop for your I-dos.
Sandals Grande St. Lucian – We know, we already put a Sandals resort on the list, but this one is too cool to leave off! The resort recently unveiled a, first of its kind, Overwater Serenity Wedding Chapel. You won’t find a more unique chapel than this in the Caribbean. The space fits up to 20 guests, and offers absolutely gorgeous views of the Rodney Bay, as well as the Caribbean Sea right beneath your feet.
Mandarin Oriental Canouan – You won’t find an island chapel more enchanting than this beautifully restored 19th-century Anglican church. The resort was actually built on the grounds of the church, which boasts beautiful stained-glass windows and the original stones from when it was first built.
Any of these resort chapels will make for an absolute dream wedding, and some even offer non-religious ceremonies. Get in touch today to learn how Caribbean Journey can make your wedding dreams come true!
