What Not to Sacrifice…
I often hear from my DW brides that the only disappointment in their beach wedding plans is that they aren’t going to walk down the aisle of a “real” church like they did so many times in their childhood dreams. Even though a Destination Wedding is often a solution to what would be a less than desirable event if held locally, some brides have commented that they fear the ceremony won’t feel official if they aren’t in a formal church setting. Yes, I have hosted weddings in Churches all over the Caribbean, especially for my Catholic clients as Catholic priests will not preform weddings outside of the church building. But what about those that aren’t Catholic or that do not want to haul their guests off resort property in their wedding attire just to find a church or have elder family members appalled by the idea of a beach wedding? The El Dorado Royale in the Riveria Maya has the perfect solution… a charming Spanish colonial style church on the resort property!
I love love love this resort for so many reasons and this charming little chapel is the icing on the cake! They have lots of great wedding specials so let me know if you would like to investigate rates for your special event!
