The Begining
My future husband proposed on October 16, 2004. It was beautiful. Perfect actually. (Here is a picture of El Morro – the fort in Puerto Rico where he proposed.) We have set the date for October 15, 2005 and the plans are under way. We know we want a destination wedding. It is the best choice for us because we recently moved cross-country and both have relatives scattered around the continent. Hopefully, our guests will make the most of it and enjoy a lovely vacation of their own.
Being in the business of sending people on vacation has its pros and cons when planning your own wedding. I envision being inundated with requests from friends and family to help plan their trip to our wedding. I am thrilled to do so, minus the pressure of wanting their experience to be perfect. Destination weddings are designed to relieve much of the normal wedding planning pressure. However, I am one that sits on pins and needles waiting word from my clients upon return from their trips. So imagine how I must feel sending people on vacation that I will have to see for the rest of my life. I pride myself in matching clients with the perfect property and luckily to date, all complaints have been the fault of mother nature, corporate airline CEOs, etc., and not my company. Here we go!
